For my 3rd year project, I was tasked with designing a robot, but given freedom as to the purpose of the robot. After seeing an increasing amount of glass-clad skyscrapers under construction, I decided to investigate whether it would be possible to design a robot to autonomous robot to clean to improve safety and maximise efficiency.

After seeing an increasing amount of glass-clad skyscrapers under construction, I decided to investigate whether it would be possible to design a robot to autonomous robot to clean in an effort to improve safety and maximise efficiency of the window cleaning process.
For this project I created detail mechanical and electrical designs, as well as developed prototype autonomous programming based upon computer vision programming using the OpenCV library.
